Inspired by her grandparents who were in the industry, she began her journey into cosmetology school at the age of 16 in sunny California. Katie focused her talents immediately after graduating in 2008 and spent the last several years refining her skills. She then relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in 2018 and began working at Arcane. Katie views education as paramount to providing her guests with exceptional color, cutting, and extension services and is always taking classes to elevate her skillset. She received advanced training from Wella, Goldwell, Invisible Bead Extensions, and Brazilian Blowout to name a few. She also enjoys sharing her knowledge with her fellow stylists and guests.

She brings a unique approach to hair that blends her classical style with today’s modern trends. She specializes in creating both natural dimension and healthy, wearable on-trend color. It is important to her that every person feels beautiful, and she is fully committed to making that happen. She believes communication is a fundamental aspect of achieving the best look for every client.

When Katie isn’t at work or taking classes, she enjoys time spent with family and friends, watching scary movies, or reading with a nice glass of wine.
